It’s been a busy week here at Dunn’s Bakery. On Tuesday 7th December Christopher Freeman was a guest on BBC Radio “Whose London” with Robert Elms. The feature was a fascinating look into how times and trends effect baking and bakeries. Christopher spoke about how he came from a long line of Bakers and that there had been a bakery on site in Crouch End since the 1850’s. Dunn’s reputation is far reaching (even as far as Japan!). We believe that this reputation is based on the fact that we listen to our customers and respond to their needs. Not only providing the firm favourites such as our doughnuts but also new future favourites like our spelt and cranberry muffins and GI bread which is one of our best sellers!
On Sunday 12th December Dunn’s Bakery was featured in The Observer’s “Christmas Taste Test”. Our delicious Ganache Yule Log received 3 stars. Come and buy and try one for yourself. Why not buy a selection of our Christmas goodies and have your own taste test – you won’t be disappointed!
Our Home made Christmas Pudding had a four star rating and critic William Curley called it “a great Christmas Pud”. We are pleased to receive these reviews but know that it is the customers who return time and time again who are our “real critics”.
