Baking Industry Awards Update
Congratulations to Mark Legg our Head Pastry Chef who won The Confectioner of the Year Award 2010 at the Baking Industry awards at The Park Lane Hilton on Wednesday 8th September. This prestigious award recognises achievement and professionalism across the Baking industry acknowledging and recognising bakeries and individuals who strive to promote the industry. Mark has worked at Dunn’s for many years and has trained many students and in his own words “looks forward to coming into work every day”. It was a fantastic night for Mark, the baking Industry and Dunns Bakery.

Dunn’s Bakery will be offering pink doughnuts and special pink cupcakes as part of the Crouch End Project’s Crouch End Fashion week’s Looking Good , Feeling Great Night on Friday 8th October . The cup cakes will be decorated with the famous pink ribbon and proceeds will go towards the charity Breast Cancer Haven. Cedric has been flying high since hearing the wonderful news about the Baking Industry Award – although he knows he will never be a head confectioner he is always willing to taste the lovely confection selection here in Dunns.
