Obviously we all know what the 4th July means but 3 days before that is lesser known Canada day.
Canada day is the celebration of the anniversary of the enactment of the Constitution Act, 1867, which united the three separate colonies of Canada, Nova Scotia, and New Brunswick into a single Dominion within the British Empire called Canada.
So for all you Canadian Crouch-Enders and for anyone else wanting to celebrate some Canadian culture this week, Dunn’s has you covered!
We baked some special Nanaimo bars!
Originally from Nanaimo an island of Vancouver, the snack is made up of a crumby biscuit base and a custard coconut filling with a scrumptious chocolate topping.
We have plenty all made fresh here at Dunn’s, so do your part to celebrate Canada day this Saturday and pick up something a little different but definitely delicious!
